State Of California Master Mutual Aid Agreement

The Master Mutual Aid Agreement creates a formal structure in which each jurisdiction retains control of its own institutions, staff and resources, but can also support or support other jurisdictions within the state. The intervention area has received requests for resources outside its borders, with the exception of resources used in normal day-to-day operation and which will be obtained through existing agreements for the exchange or provision of certain types of facilities and services on a reimbursable, exchangeable or other basis, in accordance with the Framework Agreement on Mutual Assistance. The system is based on the California Disaster and Civil Defense Master Mutual Aid Agreement, as provided for in the California Emergency Services Act. .
